buckle your britches, because this update is somehow bigger then the last one. same as before, pictures in spoilers because size issues

first off, a funny and very stupid story. you know those dead man chests that blow you to kingdom come if you so much as breathe on them too hard?

it's always a good time to almost die because of more stupid. i'm noticing a pattern

i swear, ice skates are always so hard to find, it's like they have a disdain for me. perhaps a future in ice skating is off the table

the goblins decided to get back on their crap again, not realizing that i knew their game

after commiting more crimes against goblinkind, i was hit by the realization to convert my queen bee arena into a plantera arena. sure, i won't be fighting plantera, but someone has to kick that can eventually. and unfortunately, this is when rng decided to be "nice"

there's no such thing as a "useless weapon" as the ballista sentry was kind enough to remind me of after i died while fighting queen bee

you know what's great? armor penetration. you know what's better then armor penetration? f r e e armor penetration

i've gotten alot of npc's but it feels like there's one i'm missing. oh yea, some of the town slimes are missing.

came across a rather unusual sight while tearing the jungle apart looking for a second anklet of the wind (h a n d i t o v e r g a m e)

sometimes, the game just works against you in the best ways. somehow, i managed to get a pair of water walking boots and a lava charm before finding a second anklet. now i don't need to worry about lava anymore

a wise man once said "i want to be able to see the the world generation process so i can see just what the hell it's trying to do". that man? doctor neo cortex

enchanted swords are always so hard to find, especially when they decide to grow legs and move underground for no apparent reason

oh yea, here's a tree that decided to grow in a very weird place that i somehow never noticed.

also, i have found the longest minecart track in existence what on EARTH

you're in luck, i managed to get every component but the treasure magnet.

speaking (tangentially) of things relating to the dungeon, i also acquired all of the night's edge components expect for the muramasa, and the only not-fishing-related cell phone ingredient i'm missing is the tally counter. i also severely miss having a shield. oh yeah, i also cleared out the left side of hell to make it work as a wall of flesh bridge, the good news is that there's no annoying hellbats on it. as for the bad news? you might want to bring a water walking and an obsidian skin potion, i only got the one pair of terraspark boots

okay, moving onto something i really wanted to do with this: i cleared out a pretty significant area underneath the base for the people partaking in this event to make a small build for each week. i think someone mentioned an idea like that on one of the earlier pages, but i don't remember who. i've already made my build, which you can see in the image in the spoiler

the signs in each build section will tell you which player/players have which bosses, you can build using any materials you can naturally find at your stage of progression, and you're free to build whatever you want in these sections or whether or not you even do so, but i do have a couple of requests for those who do decide to go along with this:

firstly, as noted in the general rules for this event, please don't just screw with other people's builds.

second, as mentioned earlier, the build sections have signs in them that tell you what players they're assigned to; please use only the area that corresponds to the bosses you have been assigned, and please don't break the stone slab borders on the sections, i want there to be cohesion with this. you can make your own borders on the inside like i did, and replace the smooth marble floor. feel free to write on the sign as well, get rid of it altogether, or even add more signs

third, there are obviously some building materials that are locked behind progression, and won't be usable by some people, if what you want to make requires items that you can't get yet, you can ask the people with bosses later on in progression for help when it becomes their time to play on the world (or wait for the world to become public, i guess), and if you are in the proper progression stage to have these items, you can contact the original builder (which shouldn't be terribly difficult, it's easy enough to see who goes where, week 1 is bottom right, going to the left until week 6, then going to the top right for week 7, and then going to the left until week 10) or just post about it in this thread and work out exactly what needs to be changed.

the extra large build section in the top center is for unit one to possibly build stuff in. considering the fact she coordinated this event, it feels reasonable to give her a section as well. i placed a couple signs down at spawn in case someone didn't read this update

okay, that should be everything worth remembering, there's a couple more things i need to do then i'll be ready to send the world off. also it's almost 7 am where i am and i have not been to bed yet, so most of this most might've come off as inane rambling View attachment 480258
