A24 takes over Prince Charles Cinema for a week of cult film heaven (2025)

London's film lovers are in for a treat as A24, the studio behind some of this century's most talked-about movies, takes over the Prince Charles Cinema for an unmissable week-long event.

Running from May 9-15, *A24/7* will showcase seven of the studio's most acclaimed films - many of which had painfully brief UK theatrical runs - at one of the capital's most beloved indie cinemas.

From Everything Everywhere All at Once to The Lighthouse, the A24/7 event will give audiences a rare chance to experience these modern classics on the big screen. The timing couldn't be more poignant.

The beloved Leicester Square venue, which has faced repeated threats of closure in recent years and continues its fight against closure threats.

A24 superfans will want to arrive early each night (doors open 8:20pm, 7:45pm Sunday) to visit the exclusive pop-up shop operating from 6:30-10:30pm daily.

This rare chance to grab US-only merchandise - from screenplay books to limited edition posters - makes this event truly special for collectors.

Why This Matters

Beyond the films, this collaboration represents something bigger: the importance of preserving London's independent cinema culture.

The Prince Charles - home to singalong classics and cult movie marathons for decades - has become increasingly vulnerable in recent years. Events like this help secure the future of these cultural spaces.
