At Wegmans, you can find a large selection of groceries, including organic options and those from smaller brands. While the per-unit price tends to be a little higher than what you’d get at Aldi, there are still some affordable items on those shelves.
GOBankingRates compared both grocery stores to find the top items that are actually cheaper at Wegmans. Here are the results.
Egg Sandwich

It’s hard to go wrong with a simple breakfast sandwich in the morning, especially if you’re in a hurry to get out the door. At Wegmans, you can get a Red’s Egg’Wich, which uses two egg patties instead of biscuits and has turkey sausage and cheese, for under $3.

This option does include four small sandwiches, making it cheaper per unit price. But if you’re looking for a single meal that’s keto-friendly and gluten-free, Wegmans wins out.

Italian Dressing

Some things are cheaper at Wegmans, even down to the ounce. Take this Italian dressing, for example. It costs $0.10 less than a similar option at Aldi. This is despite both of them coming in a 16-ounce bottle. While the savings might not be a ton, they can add up over time.
Plus, Wegmans tends to have a much fresher selection of produce than Aldi. This includes greens and other veggies to spruce up your salad with.
