What is Arctic Aronol w/Powerize?

Arctic Aronol with Powerize is an all season diesel fuel additive, combining the unsurpassed winter protection of Arctic Aronol F. I. with the performance and maintenance properties of Aronol Powerize.

What are the advantages of one additive?

First, is the year round protection from problems caused by varying fuel quality. Second, is the convenience and simplicity of using just one additive. Arctic Aronol w/Powerize is the only additive you'll ever need.
(top)

Is Arctic Aronol w/Powerize also a premium winter diesel additive?

Yes. Arctic Aronol w/Powerize contains a detergent rated Cummins L-10 Superior for injector cleanliness and a stabilizer to prevent accelerated degradation of fuel caused by hot fuel being returned to the tank. Unstable fuel can cause gum and varnish deposits on injectors and contribute to sludge formation in fuel tanks. Dirty injectors are a primary cause of black smoke, poor fuel economy and loss of power. Using Arctic Aronol w/Powerize as a winter additive and Aronol Powerize as a summer additive is the most economical means for providing year round performance and protection.

How is Arctic Aronol w/Powerize best applied?

As a winter additive, it is best to introduce Arctic Aronol w/Powerize about 10ºF above the cloud point of the fuel. Continual application is best for year round use.

So Arctic Aronol w/Powerize is both a performance and maintenance fuel additive?

Yes. Arctic Aronol w/Powerize increases fuel mileage and power, and prevents fuel gelling. Ongoing injector cleanliness, sludge reduction, and lubricity improvement all contribute to reduced maintenance costs. Arctic Aronol w/Powerize and Aronol Powerize can also allow a unit to pass roadside emission tests.

What is Aronol Powerize?

Aronol Powerize is an economical diesel fuel additive that is detergent based (Cummins L-10 Superior) for injector cleanliness, delivering peak fuel efficiency and power while minimizing smoke and pollution.....Aronol Powerize is a fuel stabilizer that prevents fuel degradation in storage and vehicle fuel tanks.....Aronol Powerize is a corrosion inhibitor that protects all metal surfaces.....Aronol Powerize is a lubricity enhancer that minimizes fuel component wear.

How is Aronol Powerize best applied?

For new engines, continual maintenance dosage is best. Vehicles treated with the mileage improving components utilized in Aronol Powerize for 350,000 miles showed an increase of 5% in fuel economy versus untreated vehicles. Also, a 290,000 mile test showed no increase in exhaust emissions, and injectors maintained Cummins L-10 Superior rating. Fuel savings can equal up to 5 times additive treatment costs.

How about my older engine?

The nature of carbon deposits is such that severely fouled injectors can not be returned to a new condition. This is one of the reasons that continual maintenance dosage is best for new injectors. Tests have shown that the "cleanup" dosage will improve a fouled injector from a Cummins 25 rating to a 12 rating, close to a superior rating of 10. This can produce even greater increase in fuel mileage improvement. The reduction of smoke can also allow a unit to pass roadside emission tests.
(top)

can Aronol Powerize help with passing roadside emission tests?

Yes. Fouled injectors are often the cause of excess smoke. Dirty injectors can cause improper spray pattern and incomplete combustion producing smoke. Fleet testing showed a 4% to 40% reduction in percentage of smoke with Aronol Powerize. Aronol Powerize has also shown a 22% reduction in unburned hydrocarbons (UHC). That's fuel burned, not sent out your exhaust outlet.

Is Aronol Powerize safe for my engine and fuel components?

Yes. Aronol Powerize tested "superior" in all Harms Test criteria.
